JigSAP peptide for cell-free
stroke regenerative medicine

Using the supramolecular peptide hydrogel "JigSAP", we will develop this technology as a cell-free regenerative medicine for patients with severe stroke in the subacute phase together with Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU), Foundation for Biomedical Research and Innovation at Kobe, and venture capitalists.

02

Novel self-assembling peptide for brain delivery

A supramolecular peptide hydrogel can manipulate stiffness by modifying the amino acid sequence, which controls hydrophobic and ionic interaction. In this project, we develop a technology to distribute the pharmacological effects throughout the brain.

Functional Mechanism of self-assembling peptide in vivo

In some neurodegenerative diseases, self-assembling peptides form aggregate and promote neuron death. In this project, in addition to artificial peptides, neurodegenerative peptides will also be the target of research to elucidate the behavior of self-assembling in vivo and the mechanisms of the effect on neurons.
